Eager to know them?
What are you waiting for? Just scroll down and put an end to all your problems regarding hard hats!
1. Try using a bandana underneath your hard hat
Well, this might demand you to follow some steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Hold the corners of the bandana and fold them to make triangle. If your head is small, try giving the long side of the bandana yet another fold to make a smaller triangle.
Step 2: Now what you need to do is place the folded bandana inside the hard hat while sliding the longer side of the triangle between the suspension and the shell at the front position of the front attachment cleats.
Step 3: Then, start pulling the ends of the bandana to the inside of the suspension and then slowly move out through the backside of the hard hat.
Step 4: When you have the two ends of the bandana out of the hard hat towards the back, tie a knot of the two ends just beneath the adjustment knob.
Step 5: The last thing you need to do is just push the bandana triangle in the desired location where the hard hat hits your head hard and get rid of that uncomfortable feeling forever!
That was pretty simple right? Bandana is nothing but just a piece of soft cloth that creates a membrane between the hard hat and the head so that the sharp edges or the hard surface of the hard hat doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable.
2. How about killing the heat with a hard hat cooling pad?
Hard hat cooling pads are filled with absorbent cooling crystals that soak up cold water and provide a cooling effect all day long. They sit right at the top of the hard hats.
Steps to follow:
All you need to do is just soak the cooling pad in cold water for 10 to 20 minutes and place it inside the hard hat at the top of your head position or in whichever position your head emits the heat the most.
The cooling pads are provided with hooks and loops. Just fasten the cooling pad to the hard hat suspension by using the loop straps and the hook.
Cooling pads are reusable for thousand times so one will go a long way.
3. Hard hat liners save you from both heat and cold
Hard hat liners like the HP Liner Hard Hat Insert For Extreme Heat Or Cold, Arc and Flame Resistant provides a protective shield to the wearer from extreme heat and cold conditions. It soaks up the sweat and keeps the head cool during summer and remains dry and provides warmth in the winter.

They keep the head 30 degrees cooler than the normal body temperature and the moisture-wicking fabric of the mesh in the liner, keeps away sweat.
5. Well there are goodies to save you from the cold as well:
They usually come in two pieces one to cover the head in the cap form and the other to cover your neck area. They have separate straps to attach both the sections separately. Follow the instructions on the manual of the products.
They have thermal fleece in them which offers warm in normal to extreme cold conditions and gets easily attached to the hard hat suspensions.
